About the role

P.O.P. Consulting is actively connecting with experienced Fiber / OSP Construction Managers for opportunities supporting network construction projects across Georgia.

We are seeking Construction Managers with experience overseeing fiber and outside plant builds from planning through closeout. This includes leading field teams and subcontractors, managing construction schedules and budgets, coordinating multiple workstreams, resolving field issues, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to established quality standards.

Strong candidates will have hands-on experience in fiber construction, including aerial and/or underground builds, contractor and vendor management, permitting and inspections, construction progress tracking, quality control, and project closeout.

As a Fiber / OSP Construction Manager, you should be comfortable taking ownership of construction activity in the field while working cross-functionally with project management, engineering, operations, and contractor teams to keep builds moving forward.

What we’re looking for

3+ years of fiber/OSP construction experience, including construction delivery or field operations.
Experience supervising field crews, subcontractors, and/or construction vendors.
Demonstrated experience managing project schedules, budgets, costs, and construction progress.
Working knowledge of aerial and underground fiber construction, safety requirements, quality standards, and project documentation.
Experience coordinating construction activities from pre-construction through project closeout.
Familiarity with permitting, ROW coordination, fiber splicing/testing, and construction mapping or tracking tools is preferred and may vary by project.
